This expansion project took on multiple phases. It's well known that 90's builds don't always have the best or balanced design.  It's common to find kitchens too small for the overall square footage or master baths which don't really deserve that claim.  Working with designers helped this homeowner expand square footage of the home in a smart way - no space will be left unused!

First phase included expansion of the kitchen which involved foundation work to fix an inverted corner on the home to make more room for the kitchen.

Second phase entailed lifting the first bay of the house to have a second floor--because why waste vertical space, especially with a growing family and kids who need their own corner in the home.

Adding an on-suite bathroom for a boy's bedroom was the next challenge to tackle.

And finally it was time to address parents' needs of a larger master bath, expanded garage to fit family size vehicles, and a veranda over the garage.
